2026 biotech venture funding snapshot
  • 77 venture financings are now tracked in total for 2026 so far.
  • Largest disclosed financing so far: Isomorphic Labs at US$2.1B, followed by Earendil Labs at US$787M disclosed, Parabilis Medicines at US$305M, Beeline Medicines at US$300M, and Anagram Therapeutics at US$250M.
  • The 2026 tape has been broad rather than single-theme, spanning obesity / cardiometabolic, autoimmune / immunology, oncology, CNS / neuropsychiatry, genetic medicines / RNA, ophthalmology, AI-enabled platforms / TechBio, longevity / epigenetic reprogramming, tumour-microenvironment ADCs, and cell therapy / in vivo CAR.
  • A notable read-through is that investors are still funding both late-stage / near-commercial execution stories and next-generation platform or modality bets — from Phase 2/3 and launch-preparation companies to earlier AI, biologics, antibody, RNA, peptide, gene therapy, and cell therapy platforms with clear lead-asset narratives.
  • The latest refresh added CREATE Medicines, Anagram Therapeutics, and Isomorphic Labs, with Isomorphic’s US$2.1B Series B resetting the top of the 2026 private-financing leaderboard and Anagram’s US$250M Blackstone Life Sciences investment underscoring continued appetite for late-stage, specialty biopharma execution stories.
